The board will provide a student guidance and counseling program. The school counselor will be certified with the Iowa Bureau of Educational Examiners and hold the qualifications required by the board. The guidance and counseling program will serve grades kindergarten through twelve. The program will assist students with their social, acedemic, and career development. The program is coordinated with the education program and will involve licensed school counselors working to develop a program in collaboration with parents or guardians, students, teachers, support staff, and administrators to support the curricular goals of the school.
